Atlantis™ now introduces a new unique digital product, Atlantis™ abutment core file. Atlantis™ abutment core file is a high precision digital file of an Atlantis™ abutment, which can be used for designing a coping before receipt of the final abutment. 

Atlantis™ 3D Editor is an non-verbal, easy to use, graphic supported communication tool. It allows you to make minor modifications, in real-time, to certain key aspects such as core, margin and shoulder.
This new service will further improve the communication and thereby the efficiency throughout your Atlantis™ ordering process.
Atlantis ™ 3D Editor, is a functionality within Atlantis™ WebOrder and a further development of, and intended to fully replace, Atlantis™ 3D Viewer.

Since the start of the first clinical study on the Astra Tech Implant System at the Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden in 1985, over 25 years have passed, during which Astra Tech has continuously maintained its commitment to research and scientific documentation. As of 2011, a new mile stone has been reached; a total of 500 articles have been published in renowned peer-reviewed scientific journals. The articles have been written by authors from different countries all over the world, and have been scrutinized by an independent editorial board in the respective journal before being accepted for publication. The zirconia material option is natural tooth-like in color and especially ideal for cases with thin gingival tissue.

We have received a lot of excellent and interesting posters and presentations for the IIS Awards 2010.

Two posters receive an award of 3,000 US dollars; one award for best poster clinical research and one award for best poster basic research. The contributions have been reviewed and selected by Professor Tomas Albrektsson and Professor Karl-Erik Kahnberg at Gothenburg University. One oral presentation also receive an award of 3,000 US dollars.

From February 1st we can offer shorter turnaround times for Atlantis™ abutments in gold-shaded titanium and zirconia for Europe and Australia.
