Autologous bone – a valuable asset

With BoneTrap, you collect bone that would otherwise be discarded. Autologous bone is the ideal material for augmentation procedures, since the osteoconductive properties are provided without negative immunological reactions. The use of autologous bone also reduces the need for costly artificial augmentation material.

Easy to handle

BoneTrap is disposable and delivered sterile, eliminating the need for cleaning and sterilization. It is easy to handle and requires no preparation or additional equipment. Simply attach BoneTrap to the sterile tube (compatible with diameters 5, 6 and 8 mm) of the suction system. The unique design of the filter guarantees a reliable performance – preventing the suction flow from becoming obstructed and the filter from clogging.

Clinical procedure

Collect bone particles during the drilling procedure.

Empty the BoneTrap™ filter into a bowl or apply directly at the intended site.

The exposed implant surfaces are intended sites for augmentation.

Apply autologous bone around the implant surfaces, creating sufficient bone volume.
