By introducing Atlantis™ Lab-based scanning we are offering you the freedom of choice. You can either send your model of your Atlantis™ case to the Atlantis™ production for scanning or you can scan your model in your laboratory, transferring the digital scan files to the Atlantis™ production unit.

Atlantis™ Lab-based scanning is available for all laboratories who have a Dental Wings 3Series or 5Series scanner or a Lava™ Scan ST Design System from 3M ESPE.

If your laboratory is equipped with a Dental Wings 3Series or 5Series scanner or a Lava™ Scan ST Design System from 3M ESPE you can use it to scan the model and export the digital scan files directly to the Atlantis™ production unit. For Atlantis™ Lab-based scanning you also need an Atlantis™ FLO Kit as well as access to the Atlantis™ WebOrder.

Atlantis™ FLO Kit
Atlantis™ FLO
The Atlantis™ FLO Kit (Feature Locating Object) is designed to enable scans produced in the laboratory to be used with the Atlantis™ VAD (Virtual Abutment Design) software.
The Atlantis™ FLO is used as a digital transfer coping, ensuring that the position and orientation of the implant is accurately represented in the Atlantis™ VAD software.
Most interfaces currently available for the Atlantis™ abutment are available in the Atlantis™ FLO Kit, check the Atlantis™ FLO Kit compatibility chart for complete details.
