Available for Dental Wings software, Atlantis™ abutment core file is a digital file of the Atlantis™ abutment and includes abutment design and all scanned data such as soft tissue and adjacent teeth. The file represents the manufactured Atlantis™ abutment shape (the outer surface of the abutment without the screw hole) to enable design of copings and final restoration. The Atlantis™ abutment core file replaces scan of abutment and cast and can be used for designing a coping before receipt of the final abutment.
The file is available both for single and multiple units, however not for bridge cases that include prepared teeth.
The Atlantis™ abutment core file is ordered in Atlantis™ WebOrder at the same time as you order the Atlantis™ abutment. It is available to order both with Atlantis™ Lab-based scanning or when the physical model is sent to Atlantis production.
Dental Wings software is required to import the file. For the milling it is necessary to use a milling centre that accepts open format, STL files.
